Today there was a memorial service for a man with Downs Syndrome who went to The Village Church. I had only met him once but I remembered him because of the pure joy that filled his heart as he worshiped in the row in front of me. The was the prayer he had written, "Through the years we may always be together...Jesus knows me, this I love." How simple. How powerful.
I'm thankful for his example and it reminded me of this scripture, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16
